Suddenly all 6 injectors throwing code, then went away.
First cold day around - 2c and started the e61 530xd, let it idle for 5min and went... When i reached around 90kmh it shut off. Restarted and reached the store, checked code. Was for injector 5..its new bosch since 3months.
Cleared it and went home, all god at higher speed untill i accelerated.. Died and showed all injectors actovation. Died one more to home.. All in 10min
Intermittent issues usually need to get worse before you can actually fix them. That makes them difficult to troubleshoot. The car is making adjustments, but it can only do so much. And your temperature environment is adding an extra challenge as well. I would try reseating things (can't say what exactly), especially things that were recently replaced.
It runs great on idle, reving in parked. But sometimes both cold or warm, on throttle or steady dies and throws the codes a few times, then it may work for a couple of miles.
But do enlighten me what your thinking.
I dont wanna flash/rebot dme etc since i have to little knowledge where my tune is saved at, aswell the unlocking of the gearbox for it to accept the higher torque, aswell coded of dpf/egr.
So stage 2 tune and xhp 3. Worked flawless for years.
Im baffled that the car that tells my everything now only tell me half of it.
Ive seen code 438d come up sometimes, but thats for throttle actuator and shouldnt be it? Isnt that more for regen of dpf, also read people driving with it.
31000km on odo, delete egr/dpf, stage 2 tune, xhp 3.
Never fail on idle or reving in park, neither has rough idle.
Had the setting for years. Changed 4 injectors,.one new got faulty after 6 months, but the car then told me exactly which one, so that would be fault one now but still throwing code for all seem to low odds on that.
The only thing i can remember is the first time it died it only gave code on injector 5, all the other times it given on all 6, and sometimes 438d which should be throttle actuator, but that is only for regen of dpf? And read people driving with that fault without car dying.
Mine often stalls in higher speeds 90kmh or above, often it takes 60% throttle or more during accelaration , sometimes it can be on steady throttle cruising along.
Then it can work flawless for 200km "the drive to the cabin" with easy throttle, and often if it happens it will keep on coming and suddenly it will not.
Doesnt matter if engine is cold or warm.
The weather do is subzero degrees and then is where it started.
Gonna use protool and check my voltage before and after alternator goes on.
So went out today +2 c weather. I forgot the mhd obd reeader in it, so car gave me a warning of drawn power and showed 11.65v. Before starting i took of the engine cover and unplug fuel pressure, throttle and the sensor beside nr1 injector and blew on them and put them back. I checked my battery was registred and it was at 105ah standard. So i did a new one with 105agm
Then pushed start button and started instantly and started charging 15.13v, dropped soon to 14.76v
Drove it 20km cold and did some wot on higher speeds and standstill.. Didnt matter, car just went like a bat out of hell.
When it came up to 70deg celsius i turned around, gave it all. From standstill and highspeed. Manual, sport, automatic. Shut it off, started did the same .
Worked flawless with 1.5bar at woot,529nm torque, 1604 bar hpfp pressure.
So for now i couldnt recreate it. And i only have protool and my hands since im not at home. Car off First start efter registred 105agm Dropped down to this after few sec. First time seeing this, would stop charging at all, maybe because coded a new battery? First time seeing this, would stop charging at all, maybe because coded a new battery? Full wot, 1.5bar,529nm,hpfp 1604bar Battery. Blew in them. Blew in them Blew in them.
The only thing that caught my eye was a bit later it would turn of the charging, all from ah as volt from alternator, but that may be because i just registrered the battery?
Im just not sure its a agm battery?
I dont know what to do.
Also i now drove with the enginecover of, the back one still one for injector 6
