Hello all!

I'm still looking for my sapphire black E61 a right setup (Newbie )
and unfortunately my car ain't equipped with M-Sport-package

Anyway few things that I've done this far:
-OEM Auxiliary heating, with remote control
-M-Sport steering wheel
-M-Sport footrest
-M-Sport door sills
-M135 wheels
-White Angel eyes (not yet Ai

Things that I've planned to do next:
- ECU Remapping (to save fuel )
- Complete M-Sport exterior package with bumpers and so on.
- M5-mirrors
- Lowering springs (already in garage, but is original 15mm better than 35mm ??)
- 19" wheels

Under consideration:
- ACM (Accessory Control Menu box is already bought, but it seems that I will sell it...)
- M5 steering wheel with paddles
- LCI front and rear lights
- Shadow-line (E61 rear side windows are fixed with mouldings )
- Black kidneys (already in garage, but because of that Shadow-line they are not installed.)
- Aluminium trim panels inside
- Ventilated breaks
- DVD-advanced
- Black side markers (bought one, but not happy with them)

But first I'll have to change windscreen. Second time within one month

My plan during the spring is to mount the carbon grille, carbon rear diffuser and the M5 exhaust, Hamann carbon splitter, new 20" wheels and rear led lights. All is waiting in my yet cold garage
Got all of the above done, also lowered it some, tinted the front side windows, all carbon logos, and waiting for some smoked led side markers to get my all black theme( exept taillights ) working. Also gonna slightly tint top of the headlights and licenseplates Maybe im going for a carbon bonnet as well, not sure about that. And thinking of a big brembo brake kit for it but they are sooo expensive. Im also building a cosworth showcar so my bank account is normally completely dry.

I know, i know. its not a bmw, but its still nice isnt it?

Sorry

Ok, that does it.

After seeing ArneR's car now "almost" finished, I officially GIVE UP!

And if he gets a BBK, I will just sell my E61 and buy a Lada.

I'm having the same issue at the moment. I've looked at all the usual tuner web-sites in Germany and the UK, been through Ebay front and back, also looked through the classified section here. If your E61 is a MY2006, i.e. post September 2005, then check out the M5/M6 mirrors post from member 530d -- last time I checked he had 1 pair left. I cannot find any pre-September 2005 offers at all Otherwise its around EUR 1400,- for a set with all functions (with Auto-Dimming mirrors). Even though you could re-use them or sell them for good money, but IMHO out of principle thats just too much money for mirrors!

As for reps, there are plenty of cheap ones on Ebay from Hongkong and Taiwan, but I personally would not go anywhere near them The only alternative I found was Hamann mirrors, but they also cost around EUR850,- and don't have the puddle light function.

So to answer your questions, no, I have found no good reps or deals.... anyone else have ideas / connections??
