Morning all!!
As per my most recent post on buying a space saver- I finally picked it up from my tyre place fitted with a 135/80/17 tyre
Anyway, tried sticking it in the wheel well and it's too big!! I've noticed a chap on ebay selling a kit for the tourer with a bigger wheel well mould - but i cant find this on realoem, theres only one listed?

don't know if this applies to the F11 but on the E60s also this was the case. You had to either cut out the divider mouldings or remove the carpet altogether.

Thanks Bruce, I've contacted the dealer who says there is a revised boot part, slightly larger in diameter - they want £42 for it which isn't bad, just pointless in my opinion as it's below two luggage areas, so will never see it.... think i'll follow your suggestion
Be easier to access the modules

i've now removed the liner entirely and plonked the wheel on top of the module casing.... bloody tight fit to be fair, no idea how your meant to get a new trim in there - its tight as a gnats....

I did read that using a dremmel (or similar) to grind off the dividers works. Though I've never tried it.
It is a little noisier without the lining, but not too much.
