Hey guys thank for your help from my previous posting, but now i need some helpful input. After driving my wife's wagaon, I decided I want one. This will be 3rd personal car, so I am not looking to spend alot of money. I found a wagon in South Carolina at Hilton Head BMW. Here's the link http://www.hiltonheadbmw.com/used/BM...c8300dcf19.htm. I called them to negotiate a price, but they were only willing to knock $500,00 of the price. I have the cash for it, but was taken away by their stance of not willing to negotitate. I advised them that I was ready to buy and fly down the Monday or tuesday. But they advised me they are only will to knock $500,00 of the price, so with taxes, tags, and their BS 495 DOC fee, it will total 22,291.71. Do you think this is a good deal, or should I hold out. I usually buy all my BMWs from Greenwich BMW or Morristown, but now I live in PA, so I don't have any connections any more or special treatment. Thanks in advance for your input.

Well, for one thing I don't see the car you refer to in their inventory - they have no 5 series wagons listed. That said, if you have connections at the CT dealers, deal with them instead. If you were willing to fly to Hilton Head to buy that car, driving to CT shouldn't be a hardship. See what they have and/or what they can get for you and work the deal from there.

Here's the link again

I have contacted both of my connections in CT and NJ, they both have wagons, but not at a price I want to spend. Since this will be a cash deal, I don't really want to spend over 22k max. In addition what is a good price for an 06 wagon

Keep in mind a 2006 won't come CPO anyway, so there is no real difference buying from a BMW dealer or not. BMW will not CPO a 6 year old car.
