Interesting, the 2nd and 3rd cars are RWD manual wagons (535I). I had previously thought the only configuration for these cars was the AWD (535XI) model.

That must be a typo in the listing. No RWD E6x wagon was sold here in NA AFAIK.

You just missed a VERY well optioned '08 that almost made me want to sell my wagon for it that was in your budget. Unfortunatley, it was sold a few weeks ago. I've never seen a used e61 with all those option sets(Sport Pkg, Cold, Premium, Comfort Access, Adaptive Headlights, Ventilated Seats, ACC, Nightvision, Logic7, Lane Departure, HD radio, XM, iPod int, HUD, Optional Sport alloys).

Wonder if that person is either on here or will be on here shortly...

That is too bad. I am really hoping to find one locally because we are planning on trading in our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I really don't want to have to drive far to do that. If my wife was willing to get a manual transmission I would be all over that blue wagon in Lakewood.

@bmwmonkey--nothing out of the ordinary there. mine (as well as many others) is badged as a 535i (rear), with x-drive markings by the side-markers.

I was wondering if anyone has gotten an extended warranty for their wagon. I am looking at one because I will be living in an apartment for the next year or so and won't be able to do much work on the car. The car will sit for most of the week because my wife and I will both be able to walk to work.

The warranty that I am looking at covers everything except ABS, rear suspension, air bag electronics, and seals and gaskets. The warranty is 5 year 50k mile and is $2906 for a $0 deductible or $2368 with a $100 deductible. There is another warranty that covers all of the above but the price jumps to $7067 or $6537. I am thinking that the premium is not worth the extra coverage.

I would add one more angle to your decision making...to me, the sport seats are far more desirable than the manual. If you found a manual wagon with the sport package then that would of course be awesome but given the choice, I'd go for the sport package over a manual. Also, I am still not sure why the 07's get so little love on this forum....yes they're not turbo and yes they're not quite as fast but dang...I couldn't imagine why I'd want to go around corners and from stop light to stop light any faster than my 07 does especially in sport mode!

Correct. I believe one of the cosmetic changes made with the LCI's was they dropped the xi format, for just a 535i in the rear, and an X drive badge on the sides of the car.

Are you serious or just pulling our leg? Between the 530xi wagon with 255 hp and 220 lb-ft, vs. the 535's 360 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque (with just a $500 tune and a few minuters of your time), is that a real question? Who doesn't need more power always? Especially when it's practically free?

And if you're still itching at that point, add another $1500 or so, for downpipes and a FMIC, and you're well above 400!

I guess I am showing my age or something because I AM serious....I mean I get the whole concept of having needless horsepower but as sling-able as the wagon is and as strong as the 255hp motor pulls, I just cannot imagine why I'd do with more. Heck I've already gotten a super speeder ticket from a mere romp on the throttle to overtake some slow traffic!?! Nonetheless, my point before is that the
