Default Sell E61 opinions/feeler ?

I am considering selling the E61..... mixed emotions about that but practical circumstances may override emotions

What I can't decide is the fair pricing considering the extra items which would be very desirable for the right person, an enthusiast obviously.

2008 535 xi Touring .... 6 speed manual

Deep Sea Blue with Natural Brown interior, black carpet, black dash, light Maple trim, including Maple shifter (very nice little touch that was factory ordered).

CPO, 84,000 miles, + extended service contract. Both end at 100,000 miles, or 26th of December 2013.

Factory options:
premium, heated seats/cold package, all the standard upgrades
*HUD
parking sensors front and rear
NAV
20 way comfort sport seats
sport package trim (black exterior trim)
panoramic sunroof
*rear side air bags

sport package 124 wheels, 18"x8" with tpms and currently mounted with high performance Pirelli Sottozero winter 240 RTF. About 65% left.

Extras:
5th stock 124 wheel being used as full size spare on long trips (almost all mileage is highway) wheel has matching tpms sensor and winter tire. $500 wheel and sensor + tire.

5 summer wheels: M3 sport 18"x8.5" grey, tpms, mounted with Bridgestone Performance 960 All Season Pole Position, 85%, can measure if interested. $500 ea + tires.

Dinan ECU stage 2 ($2200, and dealer installed) rated at 380hp/ 420 lb-ft torque, goes when you want to but I can do a 100 mile round trip to Tacoma from Seattle and return with 29 mpg at 60-70 mph avg ! The power is there when you want it but not reducing fuel efficiency. This is also shown on long trips with a Thule cargo box 24 mpg over 2000 miles.

Dinan Exhaust ($1300, dealer installed), sounds great but not annoying or too loud.

BMW window "screen" sun shades for all 5 rear windows including hatch glass. Super nice. Along with the tint, the car is inspection legal yet view into the car is virtually impossible while view out is easy due to the layering of light falling on a screen when viewed from outside. ~$500

BMW sport front seat covers in black. $?
BMW all weather rubber floor mats and fitted cargo area mat. ~$500

Ceramic window tint all around, 32% for legality. $500

Escort 9500ci radar and laser shifter, hard wired, control hidden inside ash tray pull-out. ~ $3500
Reverse camera custom installed by best tech shop in Seattle area. ~$1500 !!

Custom 2" hitch rated for 3500 lbs (for bike rack but I like things to be built well) $500

Thoughts? I was thinking roughly KBB + reduced cost of extras and the service contract certainly has realizable value. The big ticket items are the Dinan ECU, Dinan exhaust, Escort, and extra M3 wheels. With KBB per options and mileage + service plan prorated what's left (even though a brake job should be in there), I come up with $32,000. Of course the CPO warranty and service plan are fully attached to car and transferable to next owner even via trade in. This is confirmed through my dealer.

I'll consider "offers" but at this point I need to get it detailed and more ready to go. Here are a couple photos so people can give any input based on the 2 sets of wheels seen.

Before the custom hitch inset into the rear lower valance. Factory 124 wheels with Pirelli Sottozero 240 RFT, tint and rear window screens:

After hitch installation. Note trim fit 2" receiver above lowest departure angle and very low visual impact. With summer M3 wheels and Bridgestone 960 All Season Tires:

Beautiful wheel offset without spacers:

Bike on tray style carrier. Shows angle of mounting so as to reduce risk of departure grounding:

Another view to see tucked in hitch and summer wheels just before swapping to winter set last fall:

Oh no's! GLWS if you go thru with it. Can't suggest anything in terms of $, as pricing down there is quite different than up here.

Mods are tough to value - sometimes getting 50% for them off the car is a good thing! But as you say, if you get an enthusiast, that would be great, so you might have to hold out a bit longer to sell it that way.

PS The rear view camera integrates into the iDrive screen, right? Might want to clarify that.

PPS Decided on a replacement already? E63 AMG wagon? Heh heh! DO IT!

+1 on that. Mods are really hard to value, as the buyer needs to value them as muchas you do, and I've seldom seen buyers (even if they want the mod) want to pay for them.

These cars are hard to value. Mine is similarly equipped like yours, and the Maserati dealership offered $18k last week on trade.
I walked out the door quickly.

Hitch close-up in use:

Right front fender needs repair but my plan was to replace them with M5 and Mtech front bumper, and also respray the hood so I haven't gotten around to it yet. While sitting in he car, parked at side of gas station, a truck not paying attention gently backed up into the fender. It's visually minor but if you look closely just above the right bumper orange reflector and seem with fender, there's the deflected shape. The fender has to be replaced to be done correctly:

I'd be interested in potentially buying it if you do end up selling.

ok, opinion request:
If I go ahead and have the fender repaired, do I simply go with oem as spec front bumper or now swap front with factory M-Tech, add M-tech side sills, and rear bumper, or just have the fender replaced and just repaint the front bumper, right fender, and hood, for their cosmetic refurbishing (rocks chipping)?

If you're selling it after? I don't see why you'd spend more $ on mods if you're selling it after.
