My Ride: 2007 530xiT: CPO purchase in 2008, used by a BMW exec previously, and like-new when I got it. Compared to my other cars, at first I thought it felt heavy and steering was too heavy. Now, I really enjoy driving it in town and on the freeway. On my

"That's not East Texas. Where is it?"

LOL, actually I had to check to be sure and one of them is. Otherwise, don't remember much of East Texas. Played so much in Carlsbad Caverns, NM, did much of Texas at night

Gates Pass Rd outside of Saguaro National Park (Western), near Tucson, AZ
Texas State Highway 54 from Van Horn, TX on the way to Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Carlsbad Caverns National Park: Love this road, straight as an arrow and no cars. Tested the Yakima pod at 100 mph

Did you get a chance to have a muffuletta sandwich at Central Grocery in New Orleans? Better than Freddie's Sandwiches in SF.
OMFG, I grew up in North Beach and went to Francisco Jr. High in '64. I LOVED Fred's sandwiches then. I went to Freddie's a couple of years ago, it was still good, but I missed the old Fred's. Still great sandwiches and memories.

Did you say muffuletta? Did someone say Cafe du Monde and beignets?

great pics, really like the nature there... and I dont talk about those roads either, around here it takes like 3 hours max to get to a border (maybe when you get stuck in a traffic jam a bit longer):-)))
