Default Remote key do not work

Hey hey everyone i just bought my first E61 2009 525D and i love it so far, when i bought the car i notice the remote key did not work and i can only use the key inside to lock and unlock, but when i unlock the car the car alarms and i have to start the ignition to make it go away. this have been annoying for the past few days. I have seen a receipt in the car for antenna diversity change but it didn't seem work and solve the problem. i called the workshop who did the work and asked if they used the same frequency as the previous antenna had and they confirmed that it was.

So my question what do i do now? they changed it and didn't work, i checked it out anyways to see if the unit got any electricity and it did so no problem there, so i searched the boot for some cable damage( wiring loom ) didn't seem to find anything and the brake lights and wiper are working and the radio is working too with no problems, but i do get an error message in the dash that brake left light is not working and my friend said it's working but its a but scuffed looking, i didn't bother that much.

my only options for the moment is program a new key, ( i only have one ) or buy a new antenna again. maybe i need to reset the key fob to know which car it unlocks too? i've seen some post how to make remote keys with out starting the car but works to unlock and lock with. can i do the same procedure to my current main key with out it disturbing the immobilizer inside the key.

Thanks in advanced

Check the hatch wiring (for breaks); its common on these cars and the diversity antenna wiring goes through there as well
