Has anyone had problems with the rear wiper? Mine stopped working a few days ago. Sometimes I can here a click, like it was trying to do its job, but something blocks it.. (sometimes it does nothing)Or is the motor just simply burned out?
Also I've been wondering if this problem could relate to the infamous tail gate wiring harness as I too have some broken wires back there, which I haven't fixed yet..

Mine stopped because the bearings in the wiper spindle that goes from wiper through glass had seized due to salt ingress. Luckily I found that gently spraying oil where spindle goes into the bearing and swinging the wiper manually (window open) regained free movement. The motor is protected against overload so should not burn out. On the other hand, if you got broken wiring syndrome, then it has to be fixed.

I had the same issue. Spraying some oil helped for a while. Then I had to replace the bearing. it was a simple and relativly simple job (EUR 65). All my other repairs turned out to take a lot of time and money...

Same thing here..
Do you have the part number or the type of the bearing?
