Ready for the winter
The winter has already made a fast visit here in the north of Sweden, so it was essential to make the car redy for bad weather.
Has mounted mudflaps and electrical engine heater.
Not something you want to do, but in is essential up here.
New 19" wheels with claw-studs for real grip are also mounted.
Hakkapellitta 5 235/35-19 on Eta Beta Tettsut 19x8" with et 35.
And the ride is softer than with the 18" runflats. Excellent !

And this is the result:

Btw. Car will be lowered 1" in the spring. Mudflaps will easily be taken away and 19" staggered setup will be a reality

Did you have the mudflaps mounted on the car at delivery, or did you try without for a while? As I have 8"x19" wheels there is an issue about what the colour will look like after some period of driving...

But the surface behind the front and the rear wheels are of course a bit ruff due to the stone damage from the wheels.
So the flaps will take care of the biggest stone-grit during the winterperiod.

Looks great and those rims should be relatively easy to clean -- good choice!
How does that wheel size compare to what is approved in the car's paperwork, i.e. the wheel sizes approved by BMW to be fitted on the E61?
(Its a leading question... in Germany you need to get any non-approved wheel combinations checked by TUV and formally added into the cars paperwork, so it would be interesting to know if these are a plug and play option?)
