Finally got my new wheels on.

I also did a automatic tailgate retrofit last weekend.

Interesting. I've tried at my local dealer and the guys said they couldn't get the rear bumper. I'll push back and try again...

This place is closer to you than tishcer BMW which also a good place. Bumper covers are reasonable but theres other parts needed for lci fitment.

Excellent. Thanks so much!!I'm going to see if they offer just the rear as I've already got the entire M kit on the rest of the car. Will post pix as soon as I get it back from paint...

A few pics of my car after mounting the 19-inch Style 152 wheels. Wheels and tyres are E63-size.
I think this is the first/only E61 with this type of wheels. The car came out of the factory with 18-inch Style 152, and I put the same just an inch larger and staggered.
This is also the only E61 I have seen in this colour combo - onyx blue over polar grey.

A word of caution upfront - you will notice quickly that my trusty camera is not really up to the job, and I'm not the most talented of photographers either but I hope that you enjoy the pics nonetheless.

I have also done a few minor exterior mods as well - I'm curious whether anyone notices them, otherwise they have been pointless

That cold-blooded look in your rear-view mirror..

Here the colour really pops, although it's a bit exaggerated by the camera:

Some more reflections:

These wheels are not everyone's favourites, but to me they are quite special. They are factory-painted in a special silver metallic ("Brilliantsilber"), which looks different under different light conditions:

Chunky rear wheel, 19x9 inch:

And this is Onyx Blue Metallic:

...in its various shades - from cool dark blue, over sparkling blue-green in direct sunlight, to soft purple in indirect sunlight:

And just for comparison, here is how conservative the colour looks under fluorescent light:

My 2006. 158k miles. Just cleaned. The scratches and chips are adding up. I guess that is what 25 k higher speed miles a year on MD/DC/VA highways will do to a car.

MMitev, I really like those wheels, the Individual 18" which come as option are already something special and quite rare, now for those 19"...

Also someone is looking like an LCI from the front.

And last but not least, those individual paints are always jaw-droppers in real-life, especially under changing lighting.

Beauty.
