Alexio, that looks great. Is there a DIY link you can point us to? Or a short how to you can write up? I assume you take the wheels off, wash them inside / out really well, dry them, then cover tires with tape and spray it? You spray both the outside and the inside I presume?

Some more pictures of mine. Tested my summer wheels today, unfortunately I got two rims in the wrong color, so these are the front rims mounted front and back on one side only. Have to wait a couple more weeks before I got the rears in place.

That looks really nice, I love the carbon splitters. Is that the normal ride height? I though mine seemed low but looking at it I think mine is the same height as yours but with 18" wheels instead.

Because of rushed and limited option purchase of the 128 rims which were in fact ET designed for an X3 we needed to insert major spacers because ET's at 51 and 46 where way off what an E61 RWD could handle.
It was all a bit daunting but we bit the bullet and fitted 30mm spacers front (which reduced the ET from 46 to 16) and rear (which reduced the ET from 51 to 21) which worked brilliantly bringing wheels out very full at front and nicely full at rear, loaded old rims and tyres in back and took a 2 hour drive back home and only got a very slight fender touch at front went hit a dip going downhill at 100kph...so ideally could possibly shim front spacers back 5mm to be 25mm

Sorry, I had been busy windsurfing for a few days in Hatteras, NC

What norsecarnut said.
My wheels are indeed 4 front wheels with X3 fitment (ET46), no spacers yet, no rubbing, although I can see that the rear wheels now have a bit less clearance with suspension, so considering 15mm spacers for rear.
And now that you sorted out offsets for RWD and XI fitments, you know what wheels to buy next

Anyway, enjoy your new car and you should be getting heaps of compliments

Thanks to all the info in various threads, and help from a few members, I ordered up my wheels and tires and they fit quite well. I did end up going with the slightly taller tire, but so far, not rubbing, even with carrying my winters in the trunk, and hitting a dip leading into an incline at a nice clip.
