Thanks!

First I looked for different BBS models, but I'm happy that I found new Rondell models. I think that Rondel wheels are not only good looking, but also really good value for money. I found out that Rondell makes lot of OEM wheels for example for VW and that is good signal about they quality control. Also my tire shop gave positive comment about their quality. Only little weight were needed for balancing.
Same here, same here !

Well obviously I'm going to like that set-up
I saw in another thread that you are going to get another 8,5mm rim for the rear. You could have simply kept the 9,5 rim, put a 12mm or 15mm spacer on the rear, like I did, and you save yourself some money and the wheel is perfectly aligned with the outer arch. However, the other E61s here with 19x8,5 all round demonstrate that the route you're taking will also give great results

Thanks,
As I can see, it's identical to yours. However, beyond the fact that it's a 535d, unlike yours, it's not a standard M Sport. Rather, it has the diffuser(s), bumper(s), and other aerodynamic components relevant to the M Sport kit. I recently bought the car used and have been going through a round of pre-emptive servicings in order to assure that I get my money's worth (or at least, close to it).

Thanks for the assistance regarding the 9,5 rim TUV approval process, however, I've been told that in Luxembourg they are quite heavy-handed (legally). This also happens to be my first car. So, though I trust your experience on the matter (the reason I'm at the forum), I do not know how it would fair with the Luxembourgish authorities (especially the TUV approval). I neither have a garage of my own to engage in the required works, so I'm obliged to get it done somewhere (at least for now). At this point in time, that is BMW in Bitburg. There are BMW dealers closer to me in Luxembourg, but in Bitburg they were willing to speak some English to me, such that I could explain myself. Other dealers weren't so pleasant.

Got oil service and rear disks/pads done last week. This week I get the 8,5Jx19 172 for the rear + tires all around + some body work done (rear diffuser and some other corroded parts). I'd like to see if I can get them to check the car's swirl flaps and replace them with the newer/re-inforced version. I'll have to see cause the car is a 03/2005 model, so it may already have the upgraded flaps. Anyway, the rims are just a "playing it on the safe side till i really know well".

No point in taking any risks and you will have peace of mind... and a great looking wheel that doesn't rub!

Hope you get everything sorted this week with your dealer

Hy Gentlemen.

Hope everything is fine for you.

Here are some news pics of my car. Since last time, carbon emblems have been installed as well as spacers. I went for 10mm spacers at the front and 15mm at the rear, everything approved by the T?V.

I can't wait the end of the month..! I have an appointment with Hartge for two things: the lowering and the chiptuning....! Banza?...

Then, for the next year, I will go for M side skirts and an exhaust (Eisenmann, Hartge... don't know for the moment... Any ideas or advices...?).

Have a good day.

BTW... there were two 530D, two 535D and one 525i ... all diesel ones, except mine, were been remapped by HAMANN and ACS ... most powerful 535th one (as shown below at front) - had around 320BHP...

...after its' check-ride , as to be true, I didn't feel ANY difference with mine 231hp. Maybe it was self-adjusting gearbox?
