It's Neptune Blue...a no cost "priority 1" option for 2010. Magnolia is right! You know Seattle.
Well, that is a very nice color! Congrats.

I grew up in Seattle, and my folks lived in Magnolia (Parkmount Place) for years, so I recognize the place that you took the pics. Fantastic area!

15mm spacers are possible in Germany. I know because T?V Germany INSISTED that I had 15mm spacers on my E61 instead of 10mm spacers, because there was not enough distance between the rim and air suspension. (This is for my M172/128 rims, both with ET32.) Sounds like you have received false information.

What are your wheel dimensions and do you only want spacers on the rear?

btw, the car's still looking great
Hi everybody.

Hope everything is fine for you. It's always a pleasure to see all those clean E61 out there. I'm almost ashamed of my car when I look at all those beauties!

xBMWx, sorry to answer with so much delay your question.

I was supposed to get installed the spacers yesterday, but unfortunately, in the mean time, as I had an issue with my brakes, I've preferred to delay their installation. Indeed, on Friday, I left my car on my BMW dealer. They've proposed me to perform a summer check, thing for which I think it's always good to go for. We never know! Bingo! They gave me a call in the morning to tell me those brakes in the front and in back had to be changed...!? WTF...!? I've bought this car in February as a BMW Premium Selection and since then, I drove 15.000kms with it. Furthermore, and here is the craziest thing with this story, the board computer was stating the brakes should be changed in 40.000kms in the back and in 20.000kms in the front...!? But how is this possible? Did they modify the displayed value when I bought the car? Anyway, after the check, they have now respectively 17.000 & 10.000kms to go. It makes a huge difference... So, before this issue has been solved, I won't do anything regarding the spacers.

And I will take benefit of this delay to clarify how big the spacers to be installed on my car can be! So, to answer your question xBMWx, I was initially running style 138 rims with an ET20 (225/50/17), and I'm now running style 184 rims, also with an ET20 (245/40/18). These set has been installed on the four corners. So, could you tell me where could I find a method to calculate the maximal width of the spacer, or, if you know those values, to give me them directly!

Otherwise, I already took an appointment with Hartge for the end of October. I'm going to make them chiptune my engine (177HP -> 212HP, 410Nm -> 480Nm) and to lower my car of around 30mm. In the future, I will probably go for an exhaust. We will see..! First the brakes, then the spacers, then the chiptunning and the lowering. ;-)

Have a nice week-end and take care.

Luluflight.
