Guys I have modded my car to make the wheels fit
They will not fit oem hubs
I have e92oem comp wheels on the car but I have installed m5 front and rear brake kit with calipers rotors hubs etc, thats how it ended up working out
It ended up being an expensive affair but I love it

Default 08 535xi

I have a 2008 535xi with Sport, Premium & Cold Weather packages in Plat. Grey and Black Dakota leather. 75kup I'm the second owner and bought it with the Platinum BMW warranty (thank god!). In fact it is in the shop right now getting a fresh set of turbos and the valves blasted with walnut shells because of the carbon build up. Problem is I love this car and there isn't anything else on the market that I'd want.

No mods as yet. I want to put a M Tech kit on there and a set of Style 135s. I'm a big fan of keeping things OEM at least in appearance.

Totally with you on this.
Its just that the 135M's look rather smallish (which is not the case with the 124s for example), so maybe sondider another OEM option.. just not quite sure which of them have xi-suitable offsets?

I have always loved the 135s. I had a set of 124s on the 530d I owned before I moved to the US and would always eye up the M Sport package 5ers with their lovely 135s.

I'm hoping this E61 lasts until the next 5 comes and BMWNA sees the error of their ways and brings us a Touring again otherwise I might end up in a Merc *shudder*.

Sorry to see you go, and to an SUV! How's the X3's handling vs. the 5's? I actually test drove the new X3 (it didn't have the adjustable suspension even), and was actually pleased enough with it, that had I not been able to find a nice 5 wagon (they're very rare here), I would have gone with the X3. The X5 is too much of a pig IMO, weighing well over 5,000 pounds, though it's closer to the 5 wagon in terms of interior space, vs. the X3. The new X3 though they've done a great job with it in terms of usable space inside.

It's good to drive now but it was horrible drive with 225/60R17. I like it a lot...better view - because driving position is so high I was thinking byu some AC bits and pieces Those 20" are only for winter use - summer wheels are going to be 21" or 22" not sure yet...

Here's before:

here is mine.
VMR wheels with Conti DWS 245/35/19.
6W angel eye upgrade from Modbargains
Really want an M-style front and rear bumper, but will have to settle for a front lip spoiler for now. I'll probably add a Curtis hitch to carry my bikes on.
