Hi All
This my first post on your forum and also as a BMW owner.

I had the pleasure of picking up my '08 535d M Sport today...
Had a fun 100 mile journey back, damn that thing is fast, even with the default map..

Anyway here's a picture...

Looking forward to applying a few tasteful mods and maybe a remap..

Cheers

HI this is my first post but have lurked for a while. Last week I took the plunge and got my 06 535d touring remapped with DMS. Fantastic !! Way better than my expectations and I have booted around every where ever since !! Amazingly like everyone said I am actually getting more MPG by 2-3mpg than before. Worth every penny. Other remap providers are also available ;-)

Welcome and congratulation with your new ride. Looks good. Maybe a bit early to ask but do you have any plans for it. Any wheels or other mods?

Thanks for the welcome notes guys..

The car has been great, bought a roof box and headed down to camp in the new forest this weekend.

I have never had a car with so much torque before and it is a strange feeling of acceleration.
My old man bought a r34 Skyline and modded it to 550bhp and I raced that, so I know what power feels like, but this is different.
It feels like a train.. Like it would never stop... The acceleration from 70-100 is blistering.
It feels like my license at risk every time I hover over the accelerator pedal... Thank god for the cruise control!

The carbon grill will be with me this week and the windows get tinted this week.
As for the re-map... I think I want to have the car for a couple of months before I have the work done.
I want to feel the impact of the change, if you know what I mean.
