PDC Sensor Failure

Then it happened again. My second PDC failure in 3 month. First one in the rear bumper, now one in the front bumper.
Found the one not "ticking", so i guess its broken.
- But could it be a bad connection associated to only that specific front sensor or is it the sensor itself for sure?
- What are your experience with your PDC system, does it often brake down or am I just unlucky?
