My Ride: 2006 530 XD TOURING Luxe, 231HP
Got early 2006 wagon (530XD).
I had wind noise issue that got fixed after BMW changed the whole joint and realigned the whole panoramic roof / assembly. Since then (2008) it is really enjoyable feature...specially on rare sunny days we enjoy in UK / north of France.
As I got read of run flat too, car is so silent full on motorway i do not need to exercise the stereo too much...
So far so good. No further degradation and no leak .
