Help needed! Just installed AR Catless Downpipe, intercooler and Charge pipe.
All this codes showed up after a hard push, every gear 6000rpm.
Is the Vanos solenoid need to be replace? I also hear rattling underneath the car, especially when you push hard, let go of the gas paddle and last for 2 to 3 second.
It is very annoying. I think it is the wastegate. Any fix on this or need to replace the whole turbo. Thank you!

 

Sounds like the waste gate rattle, mine does the same . This is the fix I found, but haven't tried it yet, don't have the tools yet and haven't found any time either.

Don't know about P2a8, seems to be too short.

 

535 is the same fixed? The other code is P2A87


The rattling happen even when rev the engine in neutral ......


Thinking to replace or upgrade to new turbo but so expensive.

 

Mine rattles too when I rev it in neutral. Why not try it, it's the same engine.
