Hey all, I bought this touring off an enthusiast I am really enjoying driving it. It came with a JB4 tune, charge pipe, and downpipes. The performance is amazing especially with some e85 it it. I have been driving an e39 M5 and I would have to say the wagon would smoke it.
Future plans are a trans flash, M5 front bumper, FMIC and forged dirverter valves, oh and the dreaded water pump. My only real compliant is the transmission. It doesn't seem to know what to do when I am in boost at high rpms. In my opinion it seems to take too long to shift and lets the RPMs go too high. I am hoping a trans flash will make it more responsive.
Looking forward to learning and contributing.
Sean

Just put my bike racks on for some "flair"

Oh, one more thing. The stock stereo is sooooo good. I have had lots of cars and all types of stereos and the e61 is my favorite.

is the rear brake setup the stock 535? I am thinking of upgrading my front to what you have. One more thing, which downpipes do you have?

thx

Yes the rears are stock. I have heard that the rear is much more complicated to adapt than the front. I guess the only disadvantage of the m5 brakes is that you have to run a 19" or larger wheel.
The downpipes are VRSF. I have to swap the cats on to smog it and then put the downpipes back on. I am interested in seeing how difficult it is.

I put 550 V8 brakes on my wagon. The rear you just need the rwd hub flange swapped and a 25mm spacer to accommodate. M5 hub flange you could use too if you need the 2 locator bolts vs one.

Honestly It was well worth it for me but it also sucked as getting the axle out of the hub is a giant pain in the ass.

the 348mm rotors from for the 550 would probably make more sense for me too, since I don't want to swap rims. The calipers will fit from the 535? I already have 18" that I like. Would you recommend these or stock rotors?
