Hi all,
After much debate and back-and-forth with dealers, I just picked up 2009 535ix Wagon. Couldn't be happier.
Traded in a 2006 Audi A6 Avant and don't imagine looking back. This car is far more comfortable and powerful. Test driving the new Audi and the 535 back-to-back made it quite clear that the BMW is simply more enjoyable to ride in and look at. iDrive is fine - not nearly as bad as I had feared based on many bad reviews.
I look forward to learning from you all, and hopefully adding to the community.
Mods in progress - set of Blizzaks mounted on wheels, Valentine 1 hardwire install, rubber winter mats. Thinking about a tint...

Yes, I did buy the car in CT from Ridgefield BMW - they were great, and made the process pretty easy. Gotta say, negotiating was also pretty easy and I feel like I got a pretty fair price for the car, and for my trade. My trade was a decent condition A6 Avant, and after absolutely zero interest from buyers, I wound up going the trade-in route.
