New E61 Wagon owner here - Air Suspension ??
I have a 2008 E61 535xi Wagon currently. I had a 1999 E39 540iT with Airbag rear suspension. On the E39 the Airbags/compressor rarely if ever ran. My E61 - every time I get in the car after it has been sitting - the compressor runs. Is this normal behavior for the E61 or do I need to start looking for Airbags for the rear?. Please and Thanks JT

I agree with pocholin. I have a 2010 E61 with 96k and I have, for the most part, heard the air suspension run almost every time I get in the car. I just scanned the car with the Carly adapter yesterday and I had no error codes on the air suspension. So I assume that's normal.
