Hello all!!! Just picked up an E61 today.

So far, i like it a lot. It's got pretty much all the available options. I plan to tint the windows and get a set of 19 inch wheels soon. It also needs to have the wind noise delete mod as there is what apparently seems to be a common issue.

I traded in my 2007 328xi for it because I needed a "dog friendly" car. I also have a 2007 X3 3.0si but the woman drives it.

Past BMW's are......

96 328is with SC'd S52 swap and MUCH more.

79 320i

92 325i

2001 M3

2007 328xi

Most Especially glad that you own an E61 - we need to populate this forum!

Congrats! I just got mine 2 weeks ago and love it. I haven't had the guts to put my German Shepherd in there yet (125#), he's too hairy. He gets to ride in his Wrangler instead! I want to tint too. There's a guy on ebay that sells OEM wheels, do a quick search, you'll find him. He seems to have great prices. This place too: http://www.namotorwerks.com

My puppy is 6 months old. Her name is Charli.

I had the windows tinted. Went with limo in the back and did 20% up front. I also pulled the trigger on some new wheels. BBS LM's should be delivered this week. Went with 18's. Eisenmann exhaust will be coming next week as well.

Also looking for lowering springs. I'd like to drop it about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. After that it will get the M-Tech body kit.

Congrats!! And welcome on board.

Did you get the interior to match the dog or the dog to match the interior? Either way, I'm impressed just how far you have gone with the colour coordination!

Like the sound of those mods. Any updated pics...

The pano roof doesn't seal properly and wind noise is a common issue. It bugs the hell out of me so it will need to be fixed.

I'll post up some pics on Monday. I'll be out of town for the weekend.
