Anyway, as it happens we're going to BMW Welt anyway this summer as we've rented our favourite Gasthaus in Garmisch-Partenkirchen again. But it would have been great to pick up one of the last E61's.

This one of those VERY annoying things... in the sales broschure for the E61 it says that you can go to BMW Welt to pick up your car. Great I thought, until I read the small print; not available until 4th quarter 2010. They don't sell the bl**dy E61 in the 4th quarter!

Also, unlike the North Americans that get a DISCOUNT when doing ED, BMW charges extra to European customers that want to pick up their cars from Die Welt.
I am jealous that you are going back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen!
We had a great time there last summer after our visit to Die Welt, and we really would like to go back. That will have to wait until 2011...
