Congrats on your new Touring.

My E61 came with Goodyear TumpFlats they were harsh and slow IMHO on turnin. I switched to normal tires after about 10K miles. Winter was approaching and I needed tires with an all season tread compound.

I was happy with the new tires in the little snow that we had last winter and would make the switch again.

Grabbed two quick pictures after washing the car over the weekend.

I will say that although the Style 124 wheels aren't the best looking BWM rims IMO, they are MUCH easier to clean than pretty much all the other wheels that we've had.

Congratulation for the great car. I see a Bugaboo chassis in the corner so I guess we have common problems, that's why we love estate cars.

I agree. I will be washing my car this weekend too and I have hardly driven it. Anyway, noticed you got yours at New Century. Got mine at Pacific. Maybe we'll pass each other in the mean streets of LA.

Nice catch! Although we consider the premium sound system upgrade a must have option, the subwoofers really cut into "trunk" space. We can now put the Bugaboo seat on top of the frame in the touring which frees up more storage space. Woo hoo!

Oh yeah, the Logic 7 system rocks in this car. Now I'm really curious how DIRAC sounds.

Only if I'm down there on a visit, and that's usually to pick up a new BMW We actually live up in Silicon Valley, but we get our BMW's from a particular sales manager down in LA who helped my wife get her first BMW while she was studying at USC. We're very comfortable dealing with him, and it gives us an excuse to drive down to LA.

It's interesting how a newer generation BMW makes your older ones seem, so ... old.

And speaking of car wash, I kept on locking and unlocking the doors while washing the car. The only minus to Comfort Access.

Sure you will appreciate it. We are waiting our second E61 these days. I was thinking a lot to buy a 630i but no way my wife allowed me. She said, and she is completely right, that with a baby we need and will need more and more storage room. During summer to pack all the stuffs to go to the beech, during winter all skiing stuffs and during other seasons for outdoor weekends.

I did notice that with the Comfort Access but nonetheless my favorite feature.
