As an old musician myself I never really been happy with the audio systems I tested in different cars. Oh, there's always those >20,000 Euro kits on displays at audio shows - but I mean for more reasonable prices.
But, there are some good points regarding the "DIRAC" system
- Bass. Comes in exactly when it's due and not a half a second late as in some systems.
- Mid range clarity. Voices are so real I began to feel a tinge of paranoia - where the guys (and girls) in my car or not?
- Where is the distortion?!? previous systems have had it's peak, and after that it's not really fun to turn up the volume anymore. But here... ay caramba!
What I'm not happy about is the treble. The B&O system in the Audi A8 sounds better here. Ok, another price tag but still...
