That's true, I believe the entire set (tails + Bruce cableset) goes for around 750 GBP through his German ebay reseller.

Yep. that is a bit too much for the improvement they give, IMO.

Hi

Have to agree with previous posts that you have a great looking ride.

My 535d was born the day after yours but does not come close!

I'm interested to know how you get on with the tail lights since I was also investigating he same mod.

Thanks

Carlo

Please post some pics when you've got these installed, I'm curious what appearance they'll give...
The tail lights have arrived. Unfortunately I haven't had the time to install them yet, but the overall feeling is good and they seem to be a pretty high quality product. The light pattern is still a mystery though...

I also ordered OEM-shadowline conversion kit, as the painted shadowline conversion started to bother me too much.. Let's see when I get that installed, as the winter is coming on hard up here..

Looking forward to it, BTW if you eventually don't want to keep those you might want to go the OEM route anyways. Saw a set of OEM Hella's being eBay'd for EUR 106 last week (outers only), so with some patience I'm quite sure you could come up with a full set for quite a bottom price...

IMHO it doesn't look bad, but to be honest with that picture its not easy to tell how good it looks either! Any more pics?

I'll try to get some. It's not easy to get good pictures of the lights with my skills... Any advice on the camera settings, maybe some backlight settin adjustment?? I have just a pocket camera Olympus µ 850 SW.

Not sure about the settings for the camera but a rear view pic would be great so we could view the inner light units as well...
