Hello,

I was a little late with sending my pictures.

My car already has driven 5500km already.

The tuner in question said to me that it was unharmfull for the engine because he doesn't increase the turbo pressure.

The engines lifetime will be atleast the original one and the EURO 4 will be kept.

you better hope so............. those DMS remaps....
I always ask myself a question... why wouldn't BMW make the car with this power output already? they don't lower the engine performance on purpose....

Yes they do. Emissions, reliability in the WORST conditions, tax and insurance considerations, marketing...

I also had an idea of getting a 530d and then tune it with a new chip. But after considering the fact that warranties will be void and that insurence is also not covering remapped cars made me go for the 535d instead. The price difference between a 530 and a 535 is only 2200 Eur here so the difference between a chip and the upgrade was easy to take.

Here is the laws quite hard when it gets to remapped cars and if you are in a accident you don't get any coverage from the insurence and you even have to pay all the medical and injury costs for all involved.

The problem in Sweden is not the police or the tax, it's that all leagal matters and financial are put on you instead of the insurence. I don't know hos this works in the rest of EU.

Nice car, really good looks, M-sport with 166's goes really nice together.

Congrats!

I suppose it is Silver Grey?
They're the M135s, not the M166s. IMHO the M135s look bigger on the E61 Tourings than the E60s. Can't work why though
With the pre-LCI E61 Touring it was not possible to order 19" rims from the factory, e.g. M172s with the M-sport pack - maybe they'll change this with the introduction of the M5 Touring??

Great looking ride and enjoy the extra power...

Nope, the 172M's doesn't come with the E61 - but you can buy them anyway; you either go for two pairs of "front" wheels or you go for a spacer in the rear and used the mixed combo as standard.

Is Silver Grey the new Space Grey ?
Either way your new car looks fantastic.
The lighting in the showroom gives it an even more interesting tone for the photos.
