I pulled out of a back road and spotted the blue Xenons and 'police' lodged into my mind so i stuck to the speed limit, however when he caught me up and shot past it was obvious he knew the road so i followed (only driven that road once and never in the dark). I decided to keep up with him all the way to Hatfield so continued on the journey at about 95mph all the way whereas i normally plod at 70mph.
Nice liberated drive which made driving an E61 that much better... only cost me about 3-4mpg avg less!
Anyway, it was a Silver 525d E61 with towbar... Just Kinda curious.
(BTW, i recommend tinted windows on it 
- makes the difference!)
