No kidding. I may have gotten a BIT carried away... lol

But hey, go big or go home, right?

Paint should be done tomorrow. I decided to do the whole roof line in gloss black. I am so excited I can barely contain myself. Now I'm just trying to find a better rear bumper to complete the car. Any suggestions?

Wow great pics. Always wondered what the roof structure looked like without the liner in place. Great color. What type of paint are you using? Is it superior to the original BMW factory paint? Our factory paint chips really easily... Have you thought about leaving the roof rails off the car? I think it would look cleaner without them especially if you are painting the roof a glossly black - very cool. I wish I could remove mine.

Stopped by Southern Auto Body today to check in on how paint is coming along. Looking like it'll be complete this weekend:

Car came out of paint and finished drying this morning. Now it's time to color sand & polish, then reassemble.

After assembling the vehicle, we noticed that there were some paint matching issues. Long story short, she's headed back in for another round....

You'll notice the big difference in paint color between the fenders and the doors.
