I think there will not be any problem if you put on 245 and 275 on it. I have 20' wheels from 7 with 245 and 275 and no problem at all.

You have notice about problem with install 19" mod. 166M (245 275) on Touring?
Bmw dealer are contrasting opinion by the offset of M5 whells is wrong for touring. what to say?

I think there will be no problem I have on my E61 10x20 ET 24 on rear with 275/35/20 the tire is wider and higher then the sock one and I don't have any rubbing. If I look around there is more than 2 cm room around. If you put on 9,5x19 ET 28 from M5 the wheel is thinner and on the ET is just 4 mm difference, there will be no problem.

ok thanks!
for the rear is clear. For the front what is your opinion about the m5 266 whells? the size 8,5x19 with offset 12 . I think ther no problem. What you think? what whells and size you have in your car?

I have 9x20 ET 24 and tyre 245/35/20 I think this is the maximal size which you can put on, becouse if I turn there is just 2 or 3 milimetrs room. But when you put 245/35/19 you will not have any problems.

The photo shows 135 wheels and not 166.
