Interesting read - thanks ricracing

I think the drive will really show the differences in development rather than the stats, but its still pretty shocking to see that the current model uses 50% more fuel than the 15 year old version - that I did not expect and have to say its pretty poor considering how techology and society has developed from an environmental perspective in 15 years. (I do however recognise that this is not exactly the focus or priority with these kind cars! )

Still love the old M5 models though, be it this E34 version or the last E39. They're all classics

Thanks for posting - an interesting read! Also, it's quite obvious that the journalist is impressed of the old E34 - quite an achievement baring in mind the age of that car. I wonder what people will say about the E61 in 15 years time...?

Some change in power, performance and weight also...

Yes, all M's are classics.
