Oh yeah!

After getting the mirrors painted Titansilber Metallic last week, I had time to get them installed today. And it went off without any problems.

My E61 originally had memory, auto-dimming and reverse tilt mirrors, but now this has been extended to include puddle lights - a very nice feature IMHO.

Overall, I am really impressed with the look. They make my car a bit more unique!

Here are some pics -- please ignore how DIRTY the car is. Even though the car was hand washed after the mirror installation, all it took was 7km of driving in this slop to make a complete mess.

I bought these M5 mirrors from E60.net member 530dA, from the Netherlands.

Please feel free to post your comments!

LOL. Well, you can get a good deal within the EU for these, they are OEM, they have all of the possible functions, and they really are plug and play.

I had the mirrors and an AC Schnitzer rear roof spoiler painted for a massive 150?. The install was a bit ???, but if you have some mad skillz with toolz, you could do this yourself. There is a DIY here somewhere for the LCI version as well.

Just give in... It feels good.

Thanks! And thanks again for your assistance with my M5 mirror questions - I owe you a G?sser bier this summer!

The wheels... yes, they would actually be "mud" coated. Really embarrassing, let me tell you! We have some sub-zero weather coming for the weekend, and tomorrow, those wheels will get the treatment! Time to bring out the K?rcher.

Looks awesome man! Do you need to do anything to get the puddle light working or is it just plug n' play? I got my mirrors yesterday but they need respray before assembly

Thanks!

Originally, I thought that the puddle lights would NOT work; in fact, I was told that they wouldn't since I don't have the "exterior light package" (whatever that is). However, the module was there in my car for this package, and the tech simply plugged everything in, and the puddle lights worked. It was a complete surprise! And very cool.

So, I suppose that it depends on how your E61 comes wired from the factory.

Good luck getting yours painted and installed!
