Yeah, i also like the M172 wheel a lot!!
But still, since you already have bmw OEM look-a-likes i would stay with thoses.
Except if you get a really good deal for those standards

My Ride: E61 530D M SPORT - Silver
I can't understand where the problem is with your car, mine were fitted the day i collected my car, no problems at all. No rubbing, even under load and i have now covered 3000 miles without an issue.
I suggest you get your dealer to check the rear suspension in case the problem is there????

My Ride: E61 535d sport, Silver Grey/grey/maple.
20" Hartge Nova 7. Previously 19" staggered 172s
On the sport suspension with the self levelling (standard in the UK, don't know about anywhere else) the staggered 172's fit with no problems, and certainly no rubbing anywhere.
The ride on 19s with non-RF tyres (there are no BMW 19" RFs at the moment) is better Ithan the standard 135s with their runflats.

My Ride: 2006 535d Touring Sport, Silver Grey, Black Dakota, M5 19in wheels, Head up Display, Comms pack, sun protection glass, extended light pack, HiFi speaker system, front seat heating, Visibility pack, auto bootlid, comfort access, panoramic roof, folding mirrors, maple wood, comfort seats, rear seat heating, active cruise, high beam assist, TV function, space saver wheel & universal remote
when i had my 166 style fitted by the dealer he said the wheels do touch the plastic rear wheel liner slightly but only when the car was jacked up.
When it was lowered back down it was fine.
It is very tight though, only a fingers width from the inside tyre wall to the arch liner.

Not seen a tourer with those before, looks good.
I wonder if they are slightly different offset or something from the 172s?
I tow with mine and have never had any suggestion of a rub

The comfort is acceptable with 19" as long as the tyres are NON RF's

I rate the non RF 19s better than the standard 18 RFs
