OMG, are you serious? Sad to hear... Do the interior light dim when you close the doors? The remote won't work when there's a "door open" signal.

Only one other thing I can think of is the microswitch in the glass panel of the trunk. You can easily detach a plug in the panel to test, seems to be a regular troublemaker too.

Though one, looking forward to your results.

/off topic Yes, my car has a lisitng of ?124.000.- fully loaded, but indeed very expensive...

What about the Diversity Module wiring, we've been focusing on the unit itself but the wiring is not that robust either. It could very well operate intermittently. Have you verified this?
