Time to post pictures and say Hi. I am Phil and have just bought an E61, its a 530d SE auto with the following extra options:
Bi-Xenon,CD changer, Driver Memory seats, Pro Sat Nav +TV, Panoramic Sunroof, Towbar, cup holders? Rubber mat in Loadspace, Parrot Bluetooth.

My Ride: 2008 520d LCI.
HUD, active lights + high beam assistant, panoramic sunroof, manual gbox, grey leather and navi professional.
It's a nice car with an impressive engine.

But there is something wrong with your car.... They put the steeringwheel on the wrong side

Thanks..........grills were easier than I first thought. Once I had figured after releasing the top tabs it was easy to pull the grill upwards while pressing down on the bottom tabs (through the slats) to loosen the grill. After a bit of gentle persuasion they come out easy.
No broken tabs and no bleeding knuckles.
