That's where I was. I was using ISTA-D (I think..Rheingold?). I don't have ISTA-P set up yet. I was unable to change the amp-hours.

The simple answer is a healthy battery is 12.2v. No battery lasts 8 years, change it and be done with it so you can move on with your troubleshooting. You can't troubleshoot these cars on a bad battery because it starts shutting down modules to preserve power.
If you were able to get to the registration part in ISTA then you were in the location to change the battery size. There should of been 4 options: register same size, register bigger size, register smaller size and register different type. Paraphrasing of course.
These cars are smart and if it's telling you something is wrong with the IBS then something is wrong with the IBS.

It should of gave you some options. And you pick the one closest to what you have. So if you have a 100 Ah battery you would chose 95 Ah.

I didn't see any but I'll give it another go with the old battery first. I've been doing a lot of searches/reading and it's looking like ISTA-D might not have that capability and I need to finish programming a different Ah battery with ISTA-P? Does ISTA+ bypass the ISTA-P step? It might be better for me to just find a 110Ah battery.

Well I got my battery swapped, coded, and registered properly. Thanks Sean!!
Took her for a spin and she drove great.
Got home and ran codes.
I'm still getting the 2E8E IBS missing error and the E714 voltage error.
Drove her to work this morning and she died while pulling away from a stop sign with the DSC 4x4 errors.
Started right back up, drove home and parked her.
Just ordered a new IBS and necessary cables.
Any further ideas?

The E714 error is pointing to the IHKA. You need do perform a test on it and check wiring. It may need replacing but will not know until you find the actual issue.
