Nice Pics, Tony65. That's the same sunroof and light beige interior that I love in my Touring. It is just so bright and airy.

For info, what colour on the outside ?

True, but they are on the sides and the ambient light in the rear is much more powerful with panoramic roof.
Ok, I don't remember the E61 with panoramic roof I drove had any ambient lights at all. Pics?

BMW should have looked at the MB E-class panoramic roof lights. They are really cool!

I'm sure mine doesn't have ambient lights in the back, although, to be fair, I don't often sit there as it's a bit of a stretch to the pedals.

Don't you have ambientlights on the sides combined with readinglight?

Maybe I'm getting confused - someone said there were the orange LED's - similar to the ones that illuminate the gearshift, I interpreted these as being 'ambient lights', which I don't have in the rear. I do, of course, have the std lights next to the reading lights, but I call them courtesy lights - maybe they are called ambient lights by some people ?!?

Now I've confused myself even more....

I think you got it all right! Ambient and courtesy lights get mixed in the translations. My idea of ambient light are the ones you call courtesy.
