My Ride: 525i M Sport Touring (E61): Mystic Blue with Beige Leather and Light Poplar Wood Trim | M Sport Package: Anthracite Headlining, Dechroming, 18" M Spoke Alloy Wheels (135) & RFT's, M Sport Steering Wheel, Sports Seats, M Door Entry Sill Trims, M Sport Suspension Settings, M Aero Bodykit I | Pro NAV | Bluetooth Prep | Xenons | Adapative Headlights | Headlight Washers | HUD | PDC | Automatic Air Con - Advanced | Automatic Tailgate Operation | Heated Front Seats | Sun Protection Glass | Non-Smoker Package |
Advice please: I really like the Beige dakota leather but not convinced it contrasts well with Mystic Blue extrerior. Therefore also considering gery dakota leather instead. Black is too dark for me. Will go with wood trim; what's best combo dark, light or maple poplar? Any comments from owners with previous experience?

I think beige contrasts very well with mystic blue, very nice combo.
But what i think is the best combo is mystic blue with auburn leather, very, very nice and original.

My Ride: E61 525i SE Touring Automatic - Titanium Grey II, Auburn-Dakota Leather, 17" Light Alloy Wheels Star-Spoke Styling 138, Anthracite Headlining, Maple Wood, Electric Front Seats, Front Seat Heating, Automatic Air Conditioning Advanced, Navigation System Professional, Bluetooth phone prep, Professional radio, Hi-Fi Loudspeaker system, Park Distance Control, Rear Side Airbags, Side Blinds
I love the auburn leather - think its a great choice and looks / feels fantastic.
On the other hand side - I had beige leather in a previous BMW and although it looks great from the outside it just felt too 'bright' when sitting inside and 'non-BMW' to me.
All of that is of course highly subjective !

That's what mine is and I love it - besides everyone comments how good looking it is - the contrast between the blue and the brown leather and then the interior itself, the brown leather and the black trim - it is unbeatable.
It definitely is the best choice, very nice combo, congrats.

I have mystic blue and beige - looks great. All the brochure shots were beige interior for the Touring when first launched.

Grey isn't going to look as special...
I've got the dark poplar, but it might be a bit heavy for the beige.... I'm thinking light poplar might be best.....

I don't think the Auburn goes with Mystic Blue. Would be great with black but not blue. So It's beige or grey. Which one's best?
