I changed my winterwheels to summer rims (124) yesterday.
Damn, I think it is going to be at least a month before the weather will allow us Finns to change summer tires. Still tons of snow everywhere and very few signs of getting rid of the sub zero temperatures..

My new replica 167 18 inch with Michelin PS2 are waiting in the garage.
I hope to put them on the car in 3 weeks.

Not sure how true this is, but its another useful means of working out whether its the right time or not.

Anyone else heard about this guideline?
5 degrees in Sweden, otherwise the same up here.

today I talked to a friend of mine, he works in a tyre shop and he told me there's plenty of people woh want's to swap from winter to summer wheels..
I think it's quite dangerous to let you encourage by the first summer sunbeams.

In Germany you get punished very hard if you cause an accident or are only involved in an accident if the weather deserves winter tyres and you have summer tyres on..
quite dangerous..

Same up here + that in Sweden there is a law that stipulates that you need to have winter tires on until a certain date (different for different parts of the country). And after that date, you can still be responsible for an accident if you under "winter conditions" drive with summer tires on. In other words - you need to be d**n sure the winter is gone for good when you put the summer tires on!
