I ordered a new 520D and got rid of the 530D
#1
Maybe it is strange but I got rid of the 530D even it was a nice motor but to powerfull for daily traffic jams and to costly.
I win in totaly per year in lease and assurance and taxes around 10000 Euro Meaning that after 6 years lease I can buy a complete car for free. And I dont count the petrol
and on top I have the most complete car with my 520D
- a touring ipo of a sedan
- M-sport
- Exclusive
- Conmfort
- heated seats
- GPS PRO
- lightpackket
- extra airbags
- pre-heating
- mirrors heated and closed
- Green sun window
- Dark windows
- leather
- PDC
- XENON + adaptive lights
- Bleutooth
- USB
- Individual hifi
- 163 HP
- automatic
- trekhaak (I dont know the word for English but it is for connecting caravans)
What do you think, Did I made a bad choice?

If you think the engine is enough for you and you're within a budget there's no point in getting a more powerful one..Instead you fill up the car with some nice gadgets. Individual HiFi - now that's a treat!
No HUD?
Oh, I think a "trekhaak" is a "tow hitch" (in Swedish it's called "dragkrok")

'Drag' to pull
'Krok' as in 'crock of shit' - something not worth having.
What an excellent description of a caravan.
I knew there was logic in the Anglo-Saxon origin of our language.

That IMHO is what the 520d is all about; getting all the benefits and joy of a fully loaded 5er, but at a sensible cost.
I've heard the sun-roof on the touring is great - maybe worth considering? What colours did you go for?

I have dragkrok too, it's a very boring and expensive option to spend money on...
