How to replace a rear PDC on E61?

I need instruction on how to replace a rear PDC. I have located the faulty sensor but ned description how to access the sensor. It is rear mid sensor on a M-sport E61, I believe I have to loosen the rear bumper...? I there a rear bumper dismantling instruction available ?

My Ride: BMW e61 2006 520d, chiptuned to 180 hp.
18" 124's
I may have the same problem, a faulty sensor.
My I-drive screen shows no warnings when PDC is activated and I got the message PDC Failure.
However it is both front and rear!! So it might also be the PDC module. Any thoughts how to find out which part is not ok?

My Ride: 2005 E61 525d M-Sport, Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Media Pack, Sun Protection Glass, M6 Staggered Alloys, ACS Rear Diffuser, EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads, I-Pod Interface. Rear Aux Power DIY, LCI Rear Lights, Extended interior lights - doors and footwells, LED licence plate lights.
Activate the PDC and then put your ear to each sensor in turn. If they are working you will hear a buzzing / clicking noise from eash sensor. If the sensor makes no noise it may be faulty. If no sensors are active at all then the module itself may be at fault. i hope this helps.

I have now replaced the PDC, it vas very simple. Removing expansion clips around the plastic bumper, unscrew the two screws close to the rear lights (look in the pdf posted earlier) then unscrew the bumper cover inside the rear wheel base. Using a litle bit of force still gentle and the remaining clips where loose. NOTE: Take care not to stress the cables connecting the PDC`s!
Replacing the actual PDC is just clip out old clip in new.
It didn't solve my problem though, the same PDC still doesen't work
I guess I must have a bad connection to this PDC position, I wiil try to localize the cabling. I'll post more on this topic when I have solved the problem........

Did you find out anything about your PDC problem???
I located my fucked sensor and tried to just clean it hoping it would work. When I connected it again it worked for like a split second and then it was dead once more.. Just wondering if it really is the sensor or if it could be the PDC module it self..
