Nice motor, I have a 520d goes like a dream.
The alloys just finish it off.

I have ordered the replacement front grills with chrome inserts, they will enhance the look of the front.

Enjoy your baby

Because it's a car that has registred in germany right after the production but has to be exported; just in this way I've been able to have it without paying tax. So the plate is an "international" german plate since the final registration will be here in the States.

Well, looks like here the diesel is low sulfure and there a sign on pumps saying something like low sulfure below 500ppm, engine after 2007 may substain damage.....I don't know really what's the danger and what's the problem, i think my car is more clean than a 5.8 HEMI or other old car. In 3 years I'm living here I've never seen any exhaust analisys during inspection, something that normally they do at least in Italy so let you image the quality of the carburation of some very old engine...... with 200000 miles on it an 15 mpg.....

Interesting! I?ve already read that low-sulfur-diesel should be available in the US with autumn 2006.

Good news for torque-lovers, bad news for hybrid cars.

Thanks,
well, I just drove for 600 miles..actually 850 km and for the moment fuel average has dropped to 6.7 l/100 km, didn't see in mpg, you do the math....too early on sunday morning at an average spped of 110-120 km/hr, but I think at that speed, more constant, should be even less....me and another friend of mine that for sure is reading this post ( ciao Botten) were trying to see the acceleration on 4th 5th and 6th and both of us were trying to assure ourself that we made the right choice....economically speaking to get the 520 and not the 530. Of course the 530 would have been a different story versus the performance but back to Italy.....520 is enough for hundreds of tickets on highways
