Finally I've made up my mind and I've done it.
This Tuesday I went to the dealer to pass him my wish list for an E61 Touring. Now it's on order and production week is forecasted as 47, Modell year 2006.

Interested in details?

BMW 535 d Touring, silver-gray, Leather Dakota black, Park Distance Control (PDC), Navigation "Professional", CD-Changer, Bi-Xenon with adaptive cornering light, Active steering, Dynamic Drive, 18" 124 Wheels, Alarm, Comfort seats, Roof rails, Seat heating, HiFi Speaker System, M Steering wheel, Tinted windows, Retrofit M-Package (frontside only)

I nearly can't wait, any welcomers around?

Great choices. I only wish we could get the diesel engines in the US.

Why no comfort access? Without it, you've got a two step process to start the car.

Simply because I might be a little old-fashioned. To be honest I dislike the start button in a certain way, as it is only a useless gadget!

Welcome! Very nice car! Why not consider shadowline trim? You are going for the M-Bumper, I think the M-kit needs shadowline to look good..

If you don't know; shadowline is when the trim around the windows is black instead if chrome.

I was not very much convinced about the shadowline option, instead I like chrome trim very much, so that's really an issue of personal taste

Hello E61 Suisse.
May i ask you a question!
Do they already have the Catalogs(Price+options E61) for the 2006 models? I'm also thinking in a E61 535d, but i?m waiting to see the price changes, and the new options. thanks...

Hi fontes79,
Yes indeed, both of them were available on the net for download already.
Catalogue changed barely, only replacement of a few pics (I-drive controller, Start button, colours), with respect to the model year changes.

Here's the link:

I hope you don't mind that it is in German?
