Today was the third time I got a puncture warning on the iDrive. The first time I took the car to the dealer and he just recalibrated the system from the iDrive, i wad told that this sometimes had to be done on new cars. I week after that I had the puncture message again, this time they updated iDrive and I changed to winter tires (other wheels and tires, style 116 and Good Year UG3 RFT). Now the problem was gone for almost four weeks. But today I had the message again... I don't have much confidence in the RPA system anymore... Anyone else having RPA probs?

I'm gonna call my dealer about the RPA failure and the damn window cracking tomorrow...

I love her so much, why is she doing this to me? :'(

Maybe your car has software version 14. Version 14 gives false alarms sometimes, since it is programmed too sensitive. Version 15 fixes it.

Give your dealer a call first to make sure he has it and to get an appointment. A software update takes about 4 hours if no problems occur while flashing.

Had exactly the same problem - 2 times on the M4 and once on the M1 - intrestingly every time at approx 60 miles out. Every time false - but since
you cannot tell if you actually have a puncture then its 50mph all the way to
the next services. :'(

Very frustrating - going in next week to get it looked at

Hey all,

I disregarded my FTM warnings for a couple of days before I examined my tires and discovered I had picked up a small nail.

Just a thought.

whenI received my car last June I had several fake tyre puncure warnings too. As with 13.3, my current settings, I have no fakeys anymore.

Also had in august a cracked windscreen which was replaced under guarantee.

I advise to wait for V 15. X or read thsi forum on V 15 experience and feedbaclk
