Thanks, it would have been cool to get a set of brand-new grey or silver belts to better fit the interior color theme but I wasn't about to shell out that kind of money. Black is a nice compromise and as a bonus they they will stay looking new much longer.

It is a Mountek + mount, it works great.

After 3 failed attempts I was able to source a black driver-side panel that wasn't either missing, damaged during shipping, or "not as described" and was able to complete my last custom panel. The driver door is the looker of the bunch as it doesn't have the obtrusive handle design like the other panels, the master window switch was sourced from an M5 and has an additional pad on the handle. Jim Colley was instrumental in helping me obtain a Dirac speaker grill, thanks Jim!

I also purchased some black seat trim for the front seats, these trim panels are in much better condition than my oem beige ones. I plan on adding black seatbacks down the road to complete the look. There will be a few other trim pieces that get upgraded/swapped but the interior is nearing completion!

You know, you make getting the cream interior worth it.

I wonder if the Krylon plastic paint would work on the plastic trim pieces as well.

I have no experience with that product so I can't comment on the durability. Originally I Plasti-Diped some pieces but it wasn't ideal for high traffic/contact/friction areas. The only interior trim that is still Dipped is the lower seat-track trim, it holds up OK, I just haven't found a reasonable price on those oem pieces in black.

Most i like fenders, and filling those holes. It gives so clean look!

It´s sad they did not sell 535i in europe, it would be my dream combination 35i engine in five series!

Really??? I thought all the engines were always available there, and only a few made it over here. Interesting to hear there's the odd one they only made available in NA. Wonder why...

I love the clean look of the headlights without any angel eyes.

Installed some black lower dash trim.

Just need seat-rail trim and seat backs!

Curious about your M5 brake swap--did you keep the original brake master cylinder or did you change that as well?

You keeping the headlamps sans angle eyes? Blacked out they are looking fierce.
