Easy BlueTooth streaming through AUX Audio port
Just installed $60 Griffin BlueTrip AUX to stream Pandora to my 2008 E61. It's a small adapter that I plugged into a rear outlet with a 6" audio cable plugged into the audio port directly below. iPhone picked it up and I was streaming through AUX in seconds. SO LONG SIRIUS (aka 156 channels and nothing on...)
Thought I'd share...

So this saves you having to plug the audio cable into the iPhone every time you get in and out of the car I assume? It just wirelessly connects as soon as you get in?
How's the sound quality vs. a direct cable connection to the headphone jack?
I've got Sirius in this car, and am paying the subscription, and was listening to it from the iPhone app in the other car with a simple audio cable, but now they want $5 a month to listen using their app, on top of the regular monthly fee!

Yes and Yes - Same as my wife's new MB350C4 - love the ease of use with no cables..
Sound quality is better with BT than cable I hooked directly from iPhone - which had a lot of static. Sirius is better quality - but with 60+ dB of background noise, does it really matter? I'm tired of the same old S&*T music they play anyway...

I'm curious, using these streaming services (Sirius or Pandora), any idea how much data it will use, let's say if you run it half hour a day, 20 days a month? My plan is only a 1 GB one. I'm going to get off Sirius too, forget paying $4 a month. I was going to use Songza, since it's free in Canada (you can't get Pandora here).
