My Ride: E61 535d sport, Silver Grey/grey/maple. 20" Hartge Nova 7. Previously 19" staggered 172s
Default

Standard tyres WILL fit an RF rim, the edges are the same.

RF tyres will not fit standard rims, or rather they will fit but they will not be runflat. An RF rim has an inner 'rim' (and a wider flat area that the tyre sits on) to keep the tyre in position when it is being driven flat.

Hello, could you explain me, how you did it, to have 19" wheels on your touring
The car (in the UK) comes with standard M sport 18" rims, (135?) you have no choice in this. I simply bought the 172s as well, but got the dealer to give me a good price as I was buying a car. The cost of this upgrade on the saloon is expensive, if I sold the original wheels I could end up spending slightly less than the saloon upgrade price.

We don't have homologation here (yet?), we just have to get the insurance company to accept it.
