I had to replace the rear subframe bushings on my E39 525iT at 90k miles due to them failing. It wasn't a terrible job with the right tools. From looking at realoem, it seems like it would be a similar job.
Are the bushings known to fail after so many miles? (100k?)
Has anyone done the job?
As I stated in another thread I was doing some rear suspension work and would like to do everything at once. Any help here would be great.
#2 is the bushing.
