My Ride: 2006 525d M-sport,19" staggered style 95 wheels,custom quad exhaust with modified reiger rear bumper insert,LCI front and rear lights,stage 2 custom remap, DPF removed, cat removed
Default E61 front spring question

Hi guys
Does any company make a lowering spring that will drop my 525d M sport europe spec between 10 and 15mm ? I can't find any but i thought i'd ask

I don't remember which forum it was where there's quite a bit of discussions about lowering springs in the E61. I am assuming you have xDrive as it is the only way it is available here in the US. If you do not have xDrive, IIRC, you can use lowering spring from HR, but with xDrive, the only way to go is KW coilovers. The lowering spring & shock route for the xDrive creates a very harsh ride, and quite a number of folks have removed it due to the ride.

I would look at what H&R offers, they usually make a lowering spring application for all BMW's.

Cheers guys i am from the uk and do not have an x drive car, it is rwd with self levelling rear air suspension

I just did an E61 in our shop the other day and our customer purchased the front H&R springs and then modified the self leveling adjusters to even the back out. Here is how it turned out:

This is mine.. 525d with H&R springs and stock shocks!! Rubs a little on turnbump's
34 cm front and 35 cm rear (center cap to fender) Sorry, only know metric..
